  2. Hi David,

I know you write a lot on different games for the xbox and I agree with your recent article about the xbox games being better. However, I thought it would be fun and different to have a behind the scenes article on what it takes to interest a PC Gamer in a new system. Boxing Clever helped to build a gamer brand from the ground up. How does a new PC gaming system break into the crowded gaming community? That is what DogHouse Systems asked themselves when trying to brand their computer hardware. The engineers came up with the perfect machine that isn’t tweaked, juiced or over-clocked but now what. How do they market their machine? They decided to have advertising agency, Boxing Clever come up their branding from logo to website and more.

The guys at Boxing Clever became WoW nuts, logging some serious hours with the Alea lacta Est guild. They even played WoW dungeons and raids on the weekends and in the end, their branding campaign for DogHouse Systems proved to paid off. Within nine months, Boxing Clever helped DogHouse Systems concept, produce and unveil their new company and brand, from the new website to product photography, support materials, packaging, a web banner advertising campaign and merchandise.

Using “The Instance” Podcast as a launch platform, Boxing Clever and DogHouse Systems were able to unleash the hype of the company’s new gaming systems into a very crowded technology world. Within minutes of the launch announcement on “The Instance,” Doghouse Systems had enough pre-orders to cover the cost of the brand identity and web site design created by Boxing Clever. And with a successful pre-holiday launch, DogHouse Systems was solidified overnight as a premier provider of high-end gaming consoles.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if you would like to know more information.
