David is currently Latin American Regional lead for Microsoft Office business in Consumer and Small Business. He is based in Miami / Fort Lauderdale. He has full P&L responsibility across the region, and is responsible to define, evolve and achieve ambitious growth goals and plans across different segments (Retail, OEM, Distribution, SMB).
Before moving to the US, David was Country Manager for the Entertainment & Devices Division at Microsoft Belgium, for 5 years. This division is responsible to market and to sell all the Microsoft products & solutions directly dedicated to the consumer through the Retail channel.
Before joining Microsoft, David worked for Unilever during more than 10 Years. At Unilever, he held various positions in departments in charge of sales and marketing (mainly trade and brand marketing). David was also responsible for the launch of the brand Bertolli in Belgium.
Prior to joining Unilever, David has launched, with a partner, a new company importing and distributing disposable items for hospitals (MZ Distribution). This was an opportunity to contribute to the creation and the development of a new company, and to learn on all key aspects from a start-up (sales, marketing, finance and logistics).
